Luncheon at Chateau Modave

Lunch is prepared at the Chateau by Mrs. Marie-Thérèse LECOMTE, manager of La Cuisine Artisanale ("The Artisanal Cooking"), the Chateau's official cook.
Mrs. LECOMTE lives up to her reputation. She has important references, such as the key political figures (Ministers, Senators, Deputees...), the nobility (Princes, Counts, Barons, Viscounts...), important figures of the jurisdictional institutions (Judges, Barristers, Advocates...), owners or managers of prestigious houses or important societies...
Mrs. LECOMTE creates culinary cooking. For the luncheon served to Japanese couples, she makes use of gourmet products and typical Belgian food. Here is the complete menu for Japanese wedding ceremonies in Chateau Modave for the year 1998:

Champagne with zakouskis
***
Mussel Cream with Saffron
***
Gilthead Bream Fillet
***
Tenderloin of Beef with Foie Gras and Seasonable Vegetables
***
Ice Cream Doves Topped with Fresh Fruits
***
Coffee with Belgian Chocolates.

Of course, this menu varies following the season. Wines from the Chateau's cellar are also chosen following menu and season by the Curator of the Chateau or his Assistant.
For the luncheon in Modave, the service is supplied by a private butler, issued from Mrs. LECOMTE's team.
Luncheon is served in the Blue Drawing-room (maximum eight persons) or the Hercules Drawing-room (from nine persons).

The official cameraman of Chateau Modave is filming from the arriving of the white Mercedes transporting the wedding couple in the main courtyard, till the departure back to Brussels. The ceremony in the chapel and the champagne cocktail in the Louis XIV Drawing-room are also filmed. Incase of luncheon, the cameraman is there when wedding dessert is presented to the couple. He is also filming the couple making a walk in the gardens.
After the editing on a romantic background music, the video tape is translated into Japanese system NTSC-VHS and sent to the couple (or the agency where the couple booked the ceremony) in Japan.

Hairdressing and make-up

Hairdressing and make-up are created in one of the best salons of Brussels,"Jacques Dessange", situated closed to the Grand'Place.
Jacques Dessange opened his first salon in 1956. There are now more than 400 salons throughout the world, among which 80 in Japan.
Jacques Dessange's master trumps are quality, service, hygiene and psychology. For millions of women, the name "Jaques Dessagne" will always mean beauty and quality. This reflects the fabulous success of Jacques Dessange and his deep understanding of female psychology.
